Kareena Kapoor Khan. Songs are evergreen
Yesteryear
"Yesteryear" is a song from the Bollywood film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. It was composed by Anand-Milind with lyrics by Anand Bakshi.
The song was an instant hit and set new trends of music. Its four lines became proverbial — "Tujhe sanam, dil jaata hai." (I don't know what's this called, but it is what it is.) The video was also a runaway hit.
The song's success was instrumental in launching Anand-Milind's career as composers. At the time, the duo were just known for a couple of albums, but "Yesteryear" gave them instant fame.
